Description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of recent legal, regulatory, and legislative changes affecting Texas Real Estate license holders for the 2026-2027 renewal period. Students will review key updates to TREC rules, statutory changes from the Texas Legislature, and common compliance issues that frequently result in disciplinary action. This course also covers the proper use of TREC contract forms, avoiding the unauthorized practice of law, and real-world enforcement case studies. Additional sections address water rights fundamentals and fair housing laws, including current complaint trends and best practices. The goal of this course is to help license holders remain compliant, reduce risk, and better protect consumers in today's evolving real estate landscape.
